Botanical description:
Gilia capitata is an annual flowering plant typically growing 30–60 cm tall. It has finely divided, fern-like leaves and upright, branching stems. Habitat and growing conditions:
Prefers full sun and well-drained, slightly dry soil. Tolerant of poor soils and drought, making it ideal for rock gardens, meadows, or wildflower plantings. Attracts many pollinators, especially bees and butterflies.
