- Sowing Time:
- Direct sowing outdoors: From early May to mid-June, once the risk of frost has passed and the soil has warmed up to at least +8 °C.
- Location:
- Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with humus-rich, light, and well-drained soil.
- Sowing Depth and Spacing:
- Sow seeds 2–3 cm deep with 25–30 cm between rows and 8–10 cm between plants.
- Watering:
- Water regularly, especially during dry periods, to prevent drying out and ensure tender roots.
- Maintenance:
- Weed and loosen the soil to ensure plants receive enough nutrients and sunlight.
- Harvesting:
- Harvest from July to October. Beets are ready when their diameter is 5–8 cm.
